KEEPING IT LOCAL
For those who don't know, LuckyMe is a collective of producers, DJs, vocalists, visual artists, promoters & bosses founded in Scotland. Our family includes Hudson Mohawke, Nadsroic, FineArt, Rustie, Mike Slott, Heralds of Change, Dom Sum, The Blessings, American Men, Dema, Jay Prada, RKGB, Eclair Fifi, Mr Copy & Tiago Andrade.
Although we release over some of the best labels in the industry - Warp / Hyperdub / Ubiquity / All City / Stuff / Wireblock / Dress 2 Sweat - We are also a record label.
The visual artist collective is comprised of 10 designers and artists across a range of mediums. We have so far undertaken commissions or art direction for Susology magazine, Circulations / BEAMS T in Tokyo and All City Records Dublin. We also contribute to the design of Scottish Street Wear company Oddities Clothing.
Every month we sculpt a new mixtape for you to download for free from our website. We currently have over 16 hours of free music up there as gifts for you. Act like you know.

the kanye west backlash continues!!!!!!!
Despite 2 apologetic statements and a moment of regret on the new Jay Leno television show this evening, denouncements and outcries continue to flood in on Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, forums, and other social media over Kanye West’s on stage interruption during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech on last night’s 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. Several are even trying to capitalize on the moment, such as t-shirt maker Tee Fury and graphic artist Hydro74 (aka Joshua Smith).

In the Basement of one of Edinburgh's finest delicatessen's there is a small perfectly formed record shop open thurdays and friday's for those in the know. Stocking a selection of choice disco / soul / funk / jazz / soundtracks / house / hip-hop / folk / electronic and weird gear there is something for everyone of taste. 45 12" and LPs - NO CDs VINYL ONLY.

Things I want pt.1
The much anticipated collaboration between Nike Sportswear and fragment design on the “Noise” t-shirts has been released. The idea is simple, yet strong and nicely plays with the signature Nike logo. Some people might need a second look to even realize that it does not say Nike. A small fragment logo is printed below the neck on the back. The t-shirt comes in a series of colorways and is now available at Nike Sportswear retailers.
